NPI Professional Rewards Program™

Current Program Information — June 2026

Helping Athletes. Building Relationships. Supporting Development.

The NPI Professional Rewards Program™ is designed to recognize and reward eligible NPI Connectors, Operators, and Coaches who actively help athletes participate, develop, and succeed within the National Performance Institute ecosystem.

Eligible NPI Professionals may qualify for Professional Rewards through active athlete relationships, subscriptions, report purchases, event participation, referrals, and other qualifying activities established by NPI.

Program Notice

The NPI Professional Rewards Program may evolve over time as the NPI ecosystem continues to grow.

Professional Reward structures, Active Athlete Relationship guidelines, qualifying activities, eligibility requirements, payout methods, and program features may be updated under current NPI policies.

Participants should refer to the most current version of this page and applicable NPI policies for the latest program information.

Our Philosophy

NPI believes the professionals who help create opportunities for athletes should have the opportunity to participate in the value they help create.

The Professional Rewards Program was designed to:

✔ Reward active participation

✔ Encourage athlete development

✔ Promote long-term athlete engagement

✔ Support coaches and organizations

✔ Create fair opportunities throughout the NPI ecosystem

✔ Align incentives around athlete success

The goal is simple:

Help Athletes Succeed

Build Stronger Relationships

Create More Opportunities

Requirements To Earn Professional Rewards

To become eligible for Professional Rewards, all NPI Professionals must:

• Complete the NPI Access Partner Certification

• Maintain a valid Stripe Connect account capable of receiving payouts

• Maintain an active account in good standing

Additional eligibility requirements may apply based on certification status, Active Athlete Relationships, event participation, qualifying activities, account standing, and current NPI program policies.

Certification Requirements

Access Partner Rewards

NPI Professionals must complete the NPI Access Partner Certification.

Operator Rewards

NPI Professionals must complete the NPI Operator Certification.

Coach Rewards

NPI Professionals must complete the NPI Coach Certification.

Important Notice

Certification demonstrates completion of NPI training requirements but does not guarantee Professional Rewards, referrals, athletes, events, business opportunities, or earnings.

Eligibility for Professional Rewards is determined by qualifying athlete activity, Active Athlete Relationships, event participation, certification status, account standing, program requirements, and current NPI policies.

How The NPI Professional Rewards Program Works

NPI Professionals may qualify for Professional Rewards when athletes they actively support make qualifying purchases, including memberships, Athlete Administered Reports, Coach Administered Event Reports, and other eligible NPI products or services.

NPI uses Active Athlete Relationships to help determine eligibility for certain Professional Rewards programs. Active Athlete Relationships are intended to encourage ongoing athlete participation, development, and engagement within the NPI ecosystem.

An Active Athlete Relationship generally remains active for up to 120 days and may be maintained through qualifying athlete activity, including Coach Administered Testing Events and other approved NPI activities.

NPI Professionals are encouraged to provide regular testing opportunities, athlete engagement, and ongoing support throughout the year to help maintain active relationships with the athletes they serve.

If an Active Athlete Relationship becomes inactive after 120 days without qualifying activity, another eligible NPI Professional may establish a new Active Athlete Relationship by conducting a qualifying activity, such as a Coach Administered Testing Event, in accordance with current NPI policies.

The goal is simple: recognize and reward NPI Professionals who actively help athletes participate, develop, improve, and remain engaged in the National Performance Institute ecosystem.

The Three Professional Roles

Access Partner

Connectors help introduce athletes, families, schools, organizations, and professionals to NPI.
Examples include:
• Referring athletes and families
• Introducing schools and organizations
• Building local NPI networks
• Expanding participation opportunities

Operator
Operators manage organizations, facilities, schools, programs, and testing opportunities.
Examples include:
• Managing organizations
• Managing facilities
• Operating testing programs
• Supporting coaches and athletes
• Creating participation opportunities

Coach
Coaches work directly with athletes through testing, evaluation, training, and development.
Examples include:
• Administering athletic testing
• Running testing events
• Coaching athletes
• Supporting development programs
• Creating opportunities for athlete participation

Active Athlete Relationships

One of the unique features of the NPI ecosystem is the Active Athlete Relationship model.

Active Athlete Relationships help identify the NPI Professionals who are actively supporting an athlete's participation, development, and engagement within the National Performance Institute ecosystem.

Active Athlete Relationships are:

✔ Activity-Based

✔ Renewable

✔ Time-Based

✔ Designed to Encourage Ongoing Athlete Development

✔ Intended to Recognize Active Professional Engagement

Active Athlete Relationships do not represent ownership of an athlete, family, customer, organization, school, or future revenue opportunity.

Instead, Active Athlete Relationships are an internal NPI program mechanism used to help determine eligibility for certain Professional Rewards programs and to encourage continued athlete participation and development.

The 120-Day Active Relationship Period

Active Athlete Relationships generally remain active for up to 120 days following qualifying athlete activity.

When additional qualifying athlete activity occurs, the Active Athlete Relationship may remain active and the 120-day relationship period may begin again.

Example

January 1

An athlete participates in a qualifying activity.

The Active Athlete Relationship remains active through May 1.

April 15

The athlete participates in another qualifying activity.

The Active Athlete Relationship remains active.

A new 120-day relationship period begins based on the athlete's most recent qualifying activity.

How Active Athlete Relationships Are Established

Active Athlete Relationships may be established through qualifying athlete participation within the NPI ecosystem.

Examples of qualifying activities may include:

• Athlete onboarding

• Participation in testing events

• Coach Administered Testing Events

• Organization-sponsored activities

• Athlete development programs

• Other qualifying NPI activities

Active Athlete Relationship eligibility is determined in accordance with current NPI policies, program requirements, and qualifying athlete activity.

Why Does NPI Use a 120-Day Active Relationship Period?
The NPI Active Athlete Relationship model was designed to encourage ongoing athlete engagement rather than one-time participation.

By connecting Professional Rewards to active athlete participation, NPI helps encourage continued testing, development, performance tracking, and athlete support throughout the year.

The 120-day Active Relationship Period encourages Access Partners, Operators, and Coaches to remain engaged in helping athletes participate, improve, and pursue their athletic goals.

Because Active Athlete Relationships are based on recent athlete activity, Coaches are encouraged to provide regular testing opportunities throughout the year. Consistent testing helps athletes measure progress, identify development opportunities, maintain current performance data, and stay engaged in their athletic development journey.

The goal is simple: when athletes remain engaged, everyone benefits. Athletes gain ongoing support and development insights, NPI Professionals stay connected to the athletes they serve, and the NPI ecosystem continues to create opportunities for long-term growth and success.

Reward-Eligible Transactions

As of June 2026, the primary reward-generating transactions include:

Paid Membership Subscriptions

Examples:

• Monthly Memberships

• Annual Memberships

• Other qualifying membership programs

Athlete-Administered Reports (AASAT6)

Examples:

• Presidential Score Reports

• Athlete-generated report purchases

• Other qualifying athlete report products

Coach-Administered Reports (CASAT6)

Examples:

• Coach testing events

• School testing events

• Organization testing events

• Event-generated report purchases

Two Types of Professional Rewards
NPI currently uses two primary Professional Reward pathways.

Active Athlete Relationship Rewards
Active Athlete Relationship Rewards are generally connected to an athlete's current Active Athlete Relationship within the NPI ecosystem.

These rewards are commonly associated with:
• Membership Subscriptions
• Athlete-Administered Reports (AASAT6)
• Ongoing Athlete Participation

Example
Access Partner Sarah

Operator Lisa

Coach Tom

Athlete Jake

When Jake completes a qualifying athlete-driven transaction, eligible Professional Rewards may be distributed through Jake's Active Athlete Relationship structure.

Potential reward participants may include:
✔ Access Partner Sarah
✔ Operator Lisa
✔ Coach Tom

Actual reward eligibility depends on Active Athlete Relationship status, certification status, transaction type, program eligibility, and current NPI policies.

Coach-Administered Event Rewards
Coach-Administered Reports (CASAT6) may generate Professional Rewards differently than Athlete-Administered Reports.

These rewards are associated with qualifying Coach-Administered Testing Events and athlete participation activities.

Example
Access Partner Sarah introduces Athlete Jake to NPI.

Jake later participates in a testing event administered by Coach Mike.

Coach Mike conducts testing and generates a Coach-Administered Performance Report.

Jake's parent purchases the report.

Potential reward participants may include:
✔ Access Partner Sarah as the athlete's Active Connector
✔ Coach Mike as the Coach who administered the testing event
✔ An eligible Operator associated with the event

This approach allows NPI to recognize both the professional who helped introduce the athlete to the NPI ecosystem and the professional who provided the testing opportunity.

Actual reward eligibility depends on transaction type, event participation, Active Athlete Relationship status, certification status, program eligibility, and current NPI policies.

What Happens If The Athlete Is Already A Subscriber?

Athletes with an active NPI membership subscription may receive eligible reports as part of their membership benefits.

When a subscribed athlete receives an included report, no separate report purchase transaction occurs because the report is already included with the athlete's subscription.

In these situations, subscription-related Professional Rewards generally continue to follow the athlete's current Active Athlete Relationship.

Participating in a testing event or receiving an included report does not automatically change an athlete's existing Active Athlete Relationship.

Active Athlete Relationships may only be established, maintained, modified, or become inactive in accordance with current NPI policies and program requirements.

Current Professional Rewards Structure
The NPI Professional Rewards Program currently uses a three-tier Professional Rewards structure.

RoleCurrent Reward Opportunity
Access PartnersUp To 10%
OperatorUp To 10%
CoachUp To 10%
Total Professional Rewards Opportunity Up To 30%

The percentages shown above represent the current maximum Professional Rewards opportunities available through eligible NPI programs.

Actual Professional Rewards may vary based on transaction type, Active Athlete Relationship status, event participation, certification status, eligibility requirements, qualifying activities, program guidelines, and current NPI policies.

NPI reserves the right to modify Professional Rewards opportunities, eligibility requirements, participation guidelines, and program structures in accordance with current NPI policies.

Common Professional Rewards Examples
